Sinclair Lawn Sand is a granular formulation containing 14.1% w/w Iron Sulphate heptahydrate, for the control of moss in amenity grassland and managed amenity turf.
For a moss-free lawn Sinclair Lawn Sand is ideal. It blackens moss and greens the lawn. It also helps improve drainage for lawns growing on heavy soils.

When to Use
Apply throughout the growing season from February until the end of October. Use as a top dressing (sprinkled on the soil surface), or as a base dressing (worked into the soil using a spade or garden hoe).
During dry weather, water before and after application. Do not apply more than 2 times in any one season. Allow 40 days between applications.
Following application there may be darkening or blackening of the turf. This is temporary and will disappear.
Apply when moss is actively growing and soil is moist.
Grass should not be cut 3 days before treatment and not cut again until at least 4 days after treatment.
Mark out areas to be treated and apply evenly at 80 grams per square metre.
Apply with shaker pack, by hand or with suitably calibrated granular spreader.
