Bench Heating

Bench heating is an effective and straightforward way to increase the temperature of your greenhouse shelf, garden patch, or Danish trolley.

If you are growing plants that require a higher temperature to flourish or if you are attempting to propagate seedlings early in time for Spring, adding bench heating to your garden inventory is an excellent way to create a comfortable, stable temperature for any plants, whether in a garden or a greenhouse.

Create A Warm, Stable Propagation Area With High-Quality Bench Heating

At LBS Horticulture, we provide two primary methods of creating additional warmth for adding a propagation area for your seeds and seedlings:

Heating Mat: For small areas, such as benches or shelves, a heating mat is often the best choice for quickly creating a warm environment for propagating and supporting young plants. The heated mat provides even, consistent heat across a wide area, making it an ideal tool for germination.

Soil Heating Cable: If you already have young plants in a bed or planter, consider using a soil heating cable. Our soil heating cables are available in four sizes to match the dimensions of your propagation areas, and are fully insulated, raising the ambient air temperature by an average of 8-12 degrees C.

If you are trying to streamline your growing process, consider browsing our range of propagation equipment and giving your plants the strongest start possible.
