Woodpecker Pot Dripper Assembly
Product Description
These pre-assembled Woodpecker Pot Dripper sets come complete ready to plug into LDPE laterals. Dripper has nipple outlet to accommodate dripper cap.
Consists of:
5mm insert nipple
80cm microtube
Either 2ltr/hr or 4ltr/hr dripper & dripper cap
Non-compensating units
Flow rates (i.e. 2 l/h & 4l/h) calibrated at 1 bar (15psi) pressure. If pressure increases output increases. If pressure is lower than 1 bar, flow rate will be less . As water pressure can change from one end of a drip system to the other (& therefore flow rates), unregulated drippers are not recommended for fertigation or where high accuracy/uniformity is required.
Pressure-compensating units
Designed to 'lock' at end of irrigation cycle, preventing water draining from the system, so no need to refill for next irrigation cycle. Dripper closes ('locks') when pressure falls to 0.8mtr head (1psi approx.) & opens again when pressure reaches 3mtr head (4.3psi). Output is unaffected by varying input pressures or slopes. As long as pressure remains between 0.5-3.5 bar (7-50psi), the output will be accurate.
